What a weekend

What a weekend

The studies continues, nice weather (nice for german conditions) and a great weekend.

On friday I went with Marcus and Torsten (alphabetic appearance) to our irish pub (what we did neglect in the last 6 months).
Finally I was able to drink irish beer again. Sadly my favorite waitress wasn't there :(
But no need to worry, Kilkenny is a reliable frustration-killer.
We only drunk 3 beers. (Don't dare to force me to the wimpy-club (Yes, I mean YOU))
But it was enough, since it has been a long time I got irish beer.

Torsten and his Kilkenny
Marcus with a Guinness (*spit*)
I'm drinking Kilkenny too, of course
The mood became more laxly after the second one

Saturday was long day. It began with getting up early in the morning (uarrgh).
NOTICE: It was tough to get up, since I was out of practice with Kilkenny.
Anyway, I had to get up at 9.00 am in order to make it in time.
We arranged to meet with friends to drive to an indoor swimming pool in the deep Harz (mountain range in middle germany).
And that was really necessary, since this year's summer has fooled me badly.
We had a lot of fun. The Super-pipe-slide, the artificial waves pool, the little diving board and the children pool ;), were really cool.
After 10 slides, 5 times swimming in the (very high) artificial waves and around 30 head-first dives almost 4 hours have past.

Then we decided to go to the greek restaurant to get some culinary deliciousness.
I got the order number 603, which you can see here.

Looks yummy, doesn't it? It's called "Suzuki on top with melted cheese".
Unfortunately I couldn't eat it all :(

They're supposed name themself as "The Wacky Trio"

After the meal
Christian drinks the Ouzo as if it's water :P

After that, Torsten and I went to a beer garden where a live-rock-band has played (great music).
Regretfully I was a bit exhausted, cause of the long day. I didn't even order a beer.
But because of the excellent Rock and nice people we met there it turned into a cool evening.

Sounds like you had a rough night with all that drinking (3 beers? I know you can do better than that)
:-P...and OF COURSE...you are not in the Whimpy Club...yet.

You aren't in the wimpy club because you only drank three beers, you are in the wimpy club because after those three beers you found it "tough to get up, since I was out of practice with Kilkenny." :)
